It’s almost a month until I go back to the USA for hopefully my second dose of winter this year. That’s not a bad thing. I don’t mind at all. I’m still highly anxious about going back, especially so soon after the midterm elections. Hopefully my fellow countrymen have finally come to their senses.

I’ve been working a lot so that I’m not incredibly poor while I’m there. Right now, the Australian dollar is about 70% of the US dollar which means that the money I have will not last as long over there. I’ve got some money in the USA, but nothing crazy. I guess it’s good that I have some back-up if I need it. I guess I should be thankful that I shortened my trip. Have I ever mentioned how much I hate the tipping culture in the USA and how people should be paid a livable wage instead? Anyway…
