My initial reaction was \u201cwhat did I do?!\u201d I quickly realised that it\u2019s almost been a whole year since I moved from the rural town I lived in for almost four years\u2014with my husband.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A year already? Wow. Time sure does fly and it seems to get closer to Mach speed the older I get. My 20s feel like they were 5 years ago. I think about all the things I\u2019ve done and it feels like just yesterday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In case you\u2019ve missed it, my partner and I have a plot of land and we\u2019ll be building next year. I am guessing early-2023. I\u2019ve got an option to renew my lease for 6 or 12 months so I am hoping that the landlord will accept 6 with an option to extend it if I need to because we all know that things can happen and with all the collapses of home builders in Australia, it would make me feel better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I\u2019d say the last year has gone pretty okay.
